This morning I overslept. That was the first mistake. When I woke up I took the puppy outside to pee…nothing. I proceed to blow dry my hair, when I turn around I catch him mid-stream on the bathroom rug! He had just come in from outside! WHAT THE HECK!

After cleaning up the puppy pee I hear a bang in the kitchen, I run in there in time to see the cat jumping off the kitchen counter where my sandwich was. The fact that she ate some of the lunch meat off my sandwich is partly my fault. I give her tiny bits of lunch meat as a treat from time to time. I bet in her mind I’d finally left her the kind of treat she deserved.

After shooing the cat out of the kitchen I heard a strange noise in the living room. The cat promptly left the kitchen and went to claw my grandmother’s (vintage) leather chair! Thanks Cally!

After it all I really couldn’t help but laugh! It was possibly the most absurd morning ever. Have you been there? Tell me your stories…
