Puppy-quest is officially over!
Tuesday, May 27th, 2008A few weeks ago, I got puppy fever….BAD. Mike and I have been looking for a dog ever since. This weekend we finally found one that both of us liked. Meet “little man” (I’m just going to call him that until we decide on a name).

He’s a cutie. I can’t wait to bring him home. “Little man” will move in with me & Mike in July. He won’t be old enough to leave his mom for a couple of weeks. The apartment we live in doesn’t allow dogs, so we have to wait to pick him up till we move in July. So middle of July it is. I can’t wait! I fell like a little kid waiting to open birthday presents.
When I was young my grandpa was a dog-trainer. I’ve been around dogs my whole life and heard of some pretty strange names. There was one guy who named his dog god. He said it was funny because it was dog backwards. Then there was the man that named his dog after the female genitalia, called it ”V” for short. He just liked to make people uncomfortable. Mike’s mom had a dog named D-O-G.
In my opinion every pet name should go through the “would I want to yell that out the backdoor” filter. What are the strangest pet names you’ve ever heard?
