Another use for a caboose!

The above images are disturbing, not only because they are considered “art” in some circles, but also because they are deer butts! It seems as though some sportsmen are finding new uses for the less desirable end of the deer. They actually shape the deer’s hind quarters into faces and imaginary creatures.
It just goes to show that beauty, and in this case art, is in the eye of the beholder.
In New Mexico there is an old Chevy that has been tiled and put on an arch. A lot of people were upset when this Chevy-on-a-stick was erected. At one point there was even a petition to have it taken down!

What is the strangest piece of “art” that you have ever seen? It could be something that you saw in a friend’s house (like an upside down deer butt molded into a face…ewww), or maybe something you noticed in passing. If you have picture of strange “artwork” I’ll post it on this blog (e-mail me at weslea@wbee.com). Leave your comments and stories below…
Erin sent me a picture of this deer-butt doorbell
