Let me set the stage: My husband does not believe that he should support the family. His belief is that household expenses should be divided evenly between both adults (this didn’t come out until years after we were married). So we were out, as a family, and he asked if we would like some ice cream. He and one daughter ordered some, I passed. At home later, my husband handed me a receipt to pay for half of the bill.

I am frustrated and angry. What do you think?
