Well guys, now it’s never going to stop!
Wednesday, May 14th, 2008According to a new study published in New Scientist magazine, pestering is an effective way for wives to get their husbands to cave in to their demands. I’d imagine it works both ways. Researchers studied persuasion and concluded that nagging works. Why? It leaves the person being nagged too exhausted to fight back. When a person is bombarded with questions and/or demands it makes them more vulnerable to persuasion.
I’ve never been a “nagger.” I’ve always been under the impression that it wouldn’t get me anywhere. Maybe it’s time to reconsider (just kidding Mike).
Alright, it’s time to come clean…Do you nag your husband or wife? What is the thing you nag about the most? Does he or she usually cave?
