WWYS? (What Would You Sell?)

The “R” word has been thrown around a lot lately by the news media. Some people are convinced that we are already in the midst of a recession. People have to make tough decisions, should you pay for groceries or gas, pay bills or fill prescriptions? One way to make some extra cash… sell your prized possessions online. Craigslist is a centralized network of online communities; it features free classified ads and forums on various topics. The number of for-sale listings has increased substantially since last July. A teenager in Georgia who said her mother lost her job posted this plea, “Please buy anything you can to help out.”

Times are tough. I’ve got plenty of non-essential items that I would sell if I had to (CDs, DVDs and books). I would NEVER sell my Grandmother’s jewelry. Don’t tell my husband, but, I’d think about selling the cat before I’d part with Grandma’s stuff. What is the one belonging that you couldn’t bring yourself to part with? What would go first?

I’d have no problem selling my computers and cd’s and game systems i have. I could NEVER sell my Mustang (although some have told me i’d get good money out of it). I could completely take care of my credit card debt if i did, but i can’t part with it. I paid cash for it so it’s not like i owe any bills for it.

I’d sell my set of Encyclopedias. I don’t need them anyway. My wife knows everything!

My wife is mad at me, so I would like to take back my last comment. I would NOT sell my Encyclopedias, BECAUSE MY WIFE KNOWS NOTHING!!
